The majority of children enjoy getting out and about and being physically active. The exercise they get while they have fun adds to the growth of strong bones and muscles. Regrettably, there are an escalating number of obstacles in today’s modern world which put children off going outside sometimes. Television and video games, parents who work long hours, and dangerous neighborhoods can make it tricky for kids to get the minimal amount of exercise they require to be healthy. But it is our job, as parents, to encourage physical activity and to allow our children to develop as well as they possibly can. Some parents may find this tricky, but with a little bit of hard work it’s a problem which can be easily fixed.

A minimum of 60 minutes of exercise per day is a good amount for any child. Their stages of activity can be broken into numerous sessions as long as they total to around an hour of exercise. And, contrasting adults, children do not need to pursue closely controlled exercise programs intended to accomplish explicit results. Simply moving around, running and jumping and climbing are, by and large, enough to meet the physical needs of children. Typical playground games can boost your child’s stamina, flexibility and strength, and can also tire them out meaning less stressful mealtimes and earlier bedtimes. Support your children to follow their interests, whether those are team sports or individual activities, to provide sufficient activities in their day.
